CHPNZ CE Scott Milne has met with the Associate Minister of Health, Hon Casey Costello MP, at her Parliamentary offices.
Minister Costello is one of the three NZ First Ministers in Cabinet and is responsible for the repeal and replacement of Therapeutic Products Act (TPA) as well as medical devices. She is also the Minister of Customs and Minister for Senior Citizens, so has further interest in over-the-counter medicines and consumer self-care.
CHPNZ is looking forward to assisting Ministry of Health New Zealand officials on the formation of new legislation where needed, and continuing to support the work of medicines regulator MedSafe.
