Sashi Anantham, head of IQVIA Consumer Insights and Intelligence ANZ, recently spoke at Consumer Healthcare Products New Zealand’s (CHPNZ) annual general meeting about how Kiwis’ shopping habits have changed post the COVID-19 pandemic.
Self-care used to be a term often associated with a trip to the spa. However, Sashi says lockdowns, healthcare fears and uncertainties about the future have prompted many people to take a good long look at their lifestyles and how they could live better.
Sashi talks about the rise of self-care and how the pharmacy sector, in particular, has grown at a very surprising rate – something we have not seen in recent times.
